I'm really honored to write that a couple of weeks ago I won a 5th Place award from juror Alberto Jorge Carol for "Read to Me" at the Lore Degenstein Gallery's annual figurative show and competition at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA.  I've had work in this wonderful show a few times in the past but have never before been able to get to the show and see the gallery.  I always hope that my work will spark dialogs with viewers and so it was exciting to have people ask me questions about the painting and let me talk about it. Congratulations to all the artists in the show and a special thank you to gallery director Dan Olivetti! Many of the paintings at the exhibit are for sale, including mine.
